ROAD WORKS
Albany Highway
Mulching and pruning is being carried out on the Albany Highway from Williams heading south. This work will run through until Christmas. Traffic control and speed restrictions are in place and motorists are advised to take care and obey all instructions.
Pavement repairs are currently underway and will continue over the weekend at various locations on the Albany Highway. Full traffic control in place with after care signs also in place.
Brookton Highway
Construction has commenced on the realignment of Brookton Highway at Aldersyde, 35 kilometres east of Brookton. Speed restrictions are in place.
Motorists are reminded to take care when travelling through the work sites and obey all traffic control in place.
The following main roads and highways within the Wheatbelt South Region boundaries are open to all traffic.

ROAD WORKS
Albany Highway
Mulching and pruning is being carried out on the Albany Highway from Williams heading south. This work will run through until Christmas. Traffic control and speed restrictions are in place and motorists are advised to take care and obey all instructions.
Surface correction and mill and fill works are being carried out on the Albany Highway over the next two weeks during week days between Arthur River and North Bannister at various sites. Full traffic management will be in place at these sites.
Pavement failure corrections at various locations on Albany Highway between Williams and Bannister are being carried out starting tomorrow and expected to take 7 days. Full traffic control in place with after care signs also in place.
Collie-Williams Road
Surface correction and mill and fill works will be carried out on the Collie-Williams Road over the next two weekends. Full traffic management will be in place.
Narrogin-Kondinin Road
Widening works on the Narrogin to Wickepin Road (51.82 SLK to 64.82 SLK) are near completion. During construction roadway will be down to single lane only with full traffic control in place for a 2 km section and the posted speed limit is 40km/h.
Motorists are reminded to take care when travelling through the work sites and obey all traffic control in place.

Pruning & mulching of roadside vegetation is currently being undertaken on Great Southern Highway between Narrogin and Highbury.
Longitudinal line marking will be in progress this weekend on the Great Southern Highway from Beverley to Narrogin.
Narrogin-Kondinin Road
Widening works on the Narrogin to Wickepin Road will commence on Tuesday 29 September from Taylor Road to Wickepin town boundary. During construction roadway will be down to single lane only with full traffic control in place.
Edge lining may commence on Tuesday 29 September on the Narrogin to Wickepin section.
Brookton Highway
